About Us
Hello! I am Ayana, Director of Happy Hearts Academy. I have a background in education and a passion for working with children. It is my belief that supporting children during early childhood are critical moments in shaping who they become. Being a direct impact to those moments has always been close to my heart.
I joined the Happy Hearts family through a career opportunity presented to me. I did not hesitate to come on board to make a meaningful impact. I like to maintain a dedicated mindset in my goals allowing me to maximize room for growth and success to follow. This is the same approach I bring in all that I provide for the children, staff, and families.
Being a part of our family means being in a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment for children to feel valued, families feel confident, and teachers feel supported. Happy Hearts Academy is more than work to me; it’s a place where hearts are nurtured and futures begin.
Pre-K
Kelli Morris
Kelli has over seven years of experience in childcare with a passion for early childhood education. May 2026 Kelli will be a graduate of Nash Community College, earning an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education.
She is a dedicated mother to one daughter. During Kelli’s free time she enjoys spending time with her daughter and family, visiting the beach, being outdoors, and relaxing at home. As she continues with the Happy Hearts family, she looks forward to supporting the growth and learning of every child.
Ms. Candis
I am the co-teacher for the preschool/pre-k classroom, with SIDS, CPR, & first aid training. I have enjoyed working with children for over twenty years. Having a up close and personal view how children learn and grow into creative little humans brings me joy.
Although I am new to the Happy Hearts family it doesn’t feel that way. I have come into an environment and coworkers that I love, making the work place enjoyable.
Two’s/Three’s
Jessica Perry
Jessica is a mother of three and wife of seven years. She is a proud Wolfpack fan, who enjoys spending time with her family. A part of that family time involves watching her son play baseball.
Some things Jessica loves includes shopping at Target, Kohl’s, & Academy Sports, and getting her nails done. Other items she love are vanilla candles, popcorn, sushi, Red Bull, Alani, and water. Her favorite color is red.
We are so glad to have Jessica and the fifteen years plus experience she brings to Happy Hearts.
Infant/Toddler
Ms. Fenise
Ms. Fenise is a proud mother of four beautiful children who are the source of her daily motivation and inspiration. With three years in the childcare industry she knows her true passion is the care for infants.
As lead teacher in the infant/toddler room at Happy Hearts Academy, Ms. Fenise truly enjoys her career as an early childhood educator. Working with our little ones and seeing her “little sunshines” each morning is what brings joy to her day.
Ms. Fenise is dedicated to being a educator who nurtures children as she would her own. Having the responsibility and trust of parents is an honor and duty she does not take lightly. She carries her role with much gratitude to God and families who allow her to bring the love she has for childaare to Happy Hearts each day.
Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing home away from home where children are encouraged to grow, explore, and thrive.
“I have an open door policy, and always here for you”
